The LENA "Image of the Day" is a three panel display showing the LENA neutral hydrogen
response averaged over three consecutive ten minute intervals about one hour after the
latest perigee pass for which data are available. A wireframe Earth is centered at zero
degrees polar (x-axis) and zero degrees azimuthal (y-axis and spin direction) with a
nominal auroral oval indicated in red. Dipole magnetic field lines corresponding to L=3
and L=6.6 (geosynchronous) along with magnetic local time are indicated on the plot.
